Year 6 Leavers Liturgy 2024

 Dear Year 6,

Goodbye, God bless and enjoy the good times ahead.

Over the past years, you have grown not only in knowledge and skills but also in character and resilience. You have embraced challenges, celebrated successes and supported one another. I have many fond memories of working with you and getting to know you over the years. From morning maths sessions in Year 1 and Year 2 to book clubs and creative writing in Years 5 and 6, and even our lockdown lessons in between, it has been a pleasure to watch you grow and learn. During this time, I've seen first-hand your perseverance, resilience and quiet determination as you approached different tasks and challenges.

Thank you for the contributions you have made this year, in your many roles and responsibilities. As we approach the end of the Summer Term and your final year with us, we hope that you enjoy every moment of your end-of-year celebrations, as you look forward to your next chapter.

As you prepare to transition to secondary school, remember that this is a new chapter filled with exciting opportunities. You will meet new friends, discover new interests and face new challenges. Continue to be curious, creative and embrace all the opportunities that lie ahead of you.

"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. Embrace thisn transition with open hearts and open minds. The opportunities that lie ahead are endless, and each day is a chance to learn, grow, and create the future you dream of."

With warm wishes,

Ms. O'Grady
