Year One demonstrated their understanding of Charity through theatre!
Using relevant props, we acted out giving away food, clothing and toys to those who needed them more than we did. We explained why we were doing it as we went, and how it was important to do this because it is good and not because someone is watching.
This was inspired by ‘The Widow’s Offering’ Mark 12 (41-44), and the way that Jesus is watching our good deeds, even if no one else is.
