EYFS and KS1 Harvest Liturgy 2018

On Monday morning, Father Nigel joined the Early Years and Key Stage One for their Harvest Liturgy.  The children all shared work they have been doing in class to celebrate Harvest festival.  Nursery and Reception have been busy making artwork of their favourite fruit and vegetables, Year One have written some Harvest prayers thanking God for their favourite foods, and Year Two read out their creative and thoughtful Harvest acrostic poems.  It was a wonderful morning celebrating the children's work and coming together to mark the Harvest festival.
Harvest is an important time to give thanks for the food we have, but also a time to think of others and share with those who are less fortunate.  Thank you very much to Father Nigel for his thoughtful words and to all the children for their kind and generous donations of food.
