"The children's art work from your school is on display at Hackney Central Library till
20th July. All the works from your school which are on display will be returned on
either 21 or 22 July. If your school is coming to see the display please let me know.
I will let David, my contact at the library, know you are coming and I might
be able to come along. I have also created an on-line exhibition of children's work and
the work from your class is on the following page :

Year 4 “Dragon Scales” Project

Shimmering flutes play haunting melodies in an exotic evocation of mythical Chinese dragons….. These are just some of the sounds you will hear in Year 4’s wonderful collection of atmospheric pieces. They have been learning how to use AppleMac’s Garageband music program and how to find and work with pentatonic scales on the keyboard. So far this year, they have gained quite a bit of insight into the musical creative process. As you can see, they also have a keen eye for catchy artwork. Currently, our budding composers are working on their next CD. So watch this space!
