BEING SAFE IN THE PLAYGROUND

Some of us from Year 1 & Year 2 looked at Safety in the Playground. We discussed bullying / teasing / misunderstandings / pushing & shoving / being rude & mean / telling tales / tripping people up / throwing things / fighting / biting / arguing about football. We wrote and filmed some sketches with a digital camera.

Don't get involved in a fight...

If someone starts a fight, just walk away, if you fight back you might get hurt.

You could get into trouble yourself because no-one will know who started it.

Getting involved in a fight is a dumb and stupid thing to do.

Always tell a teacher, a friend or your parents if you are being bullied or picked on in any way.

Don't tell tales

If someone tells tales about a situation, tell a teacher the truth.

Lying & telling tales doesn't work and gets you into trouble.

You'll lose friends if you tell tales.
